Robert G. Bancroft, age 92, at rest January 27, 2013 at Lemont Center. He was a lifetime resident of Lemont and a retired welder for General Motors. Mr. Bancroft served his country honorably in WW 11 United States Army. Survived by one sister Helen Dougherty of Lemont and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents William and Anna; brothers, Albert, Fred, Raymond, William, Louis and John and sisters Edna and Florence.
